A human-made pile of stones shaped into a cairn, usually found in uplands on mountain tops or near water. This cairn is to memorialise the dead, infact the flowers have been placed to remember people's mothers on Mother's Day, photographed on Mothering Sunday. It has been placed in the North Somerset Bistrol Channel beach of Lilstock, ironically near the Hinkley Point nuclear power stations seen in the distance. DAVID MANSELL
