Rear view of stagecoach at Stage Stop, East Broadway South Cache Street US Highway 191 intersection, west to East Gros Ventre Butte, Jackson, Wyoming

The town of Jackson, Wyoming, was named in 1894 after David Edward Jackson (1788-1837), an American pioneer, trapper, fur trader and explorer. Jackson Hole and Jackson Lake are also named after him. The town's economic mainstay is tourism. The stagecoach in the shot gives ten minute tours around the Town Square. A view, looking west towards East Gros Ventre Butte, across the intersection of East Broadway, South Cahe Street and Us Highway 191.
