Furious Maenad. Attic kylix by Brygos Painter dated from circa 490-480 BC on display in the Staatliche Antikensammlungen (Bavarian State Collection of Antiques) in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Maenad is depicted in the tondo holding a thyrsus and shaking a panther in the air, while a whistling snake is rolled up over her head like a diadem.
