A pair of full arm defences for a German infantry or light cavalry armour second half of the 16th century. comprising light spaulders each of five lames moving on sliding rivets, the upper lames pierced for attaching to a pair of hinged sprung pillars (not present on the existing gorget), the lower lames fitted with tubular turners, tubular upper-and lower-cannons, rounded cowters with side-wings (one re-attached by a riveted internal patch), and recessed borders with turned roped edges.
