The British Reoccupation of Burma Clothing is issued to Indian and Burmese forced labourers liberated from the Japanese labour camp at Thanbuza, 40 miles south of Moulmein in Burma. Immediate medical attention was given to those inmates who needed it and when fit they were sent to Setse beach where they embarked on landing craft, which took them on the first stage of their journey home.
