Jeremy Corbyn, Leeds 30 July 2016. Thousands of people flocked to the Royal Armouries Museum as Jeremy Corbyn spoke at a rally in Leeds - alongside one of The Labour Party's bright new stars, Shadow Justice Secretary, Richard Burgon MP. According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, hall was packed to the rafters with more than 2,000 people and there was standing room only - with around 1,000 more unable to get in! Corbyn has been touring Yorkshire speaking about about his commitment to the steel industry, improving inner-city transport links and a £500bn cash pot that he would make available to the North of England through a national investment bank.
