It shall then follow the course of the Likangala River up-streamas far as the easter boundary of Messrs. Buchanan Brothers Mlungusi estate,thence along the said eastern boundary of the said estate southwards to apoint on the left bank of the Ntondwe River. It shall then follow thenorthern boundary of Mr. Bruces Namasi estate eastwards until the saidboundary reaches the Palombe River, thence along the right bank of thePalombe River up-stream to its GERMAN EAST AFRICA 203 GERMAN EAST AFRICA I have received a memorandum from the GermanColonial Office, from which it seems that, following onthe negotiations of the International Conference for theprotection of wild animals, a draft for new regulations wasprepared; but the form of some of them is still underconsideration, and they appear to have been submitted tothe newly appointed Imperial Governor to give him anopportunity to revise them by the light of further experi-ence and information obtained on the spot. The creationof reserves is left to the decision of the Imperial Governor,and no particulars as to the area or limits of reservesalready established have as yet been received.
