Hundreds of people joined a protest held outside the Queen Elizabeth conference centre in London Westminster, on the day former Prime Minister Tony Blair was facing the Chilcot enquiry Despite attempts to prevent this protest taking place, the protest went ahead. Writers, musicians, relatives of the dead, Iraqi refugees, poets, human rights lawyers, comedians, actors, MPs and ordinary citizens joined a day of protest outside the conference centre to show their anger at Blair’s decision to go to war in Iraq and to demand justice for it. Just as Tony Blair was arriving, a delegation including Iraqi citizens and grieving military families delivered a statement and the People's Dossier of questions for Sir John ask Tony Blair. As soon as Blair's testimony began, names of Iraqis killed in the war were read by novelist Kennedy, Musician Brian Eno, actor and director Sam West, actor and director Simon McBurney, playwright David Edgar, Lancet editor Richard Horton, former UK ambassador Craig Murray, Iraqi author Haifa Zangana, comedian and author Alexei Sayle, actor Miriam Margolyes, and others. Speeches, readings and performances were done by many participants. Members of military families who lost loved ones in the Iraq war will read the names of all 179 British soldiers who died. The protest continued as tony Blair was leaving the enquiry. Protesters were shouting that there is no hiding place for mass-murderers
