Nowit is a feature of the grocery trade, andnearly every retailer handles it, and nearlyevery retailer has on his window the whiteenamel sign of one or more of the severalpackage tea companies. Every line of trade as well as everycountry has its pioneer. The pioneer of thepackage tea trade in Canada is the SaladaTea Co., of which Mr. P. C. Larkin is thefounder. It is about six years since this firm startedon its career in package teas at 25 Frontstreet east, Toronto. At that time it onlyoccupied part of the building, but eventu-ally it had not only absorbed the whole ofthe three - storey building,but had taken in a flat in theadjoining building.
