Thisbuilding provi ral floor with a crane span of 57 ft., served bj a 10-ton crane. The central portion has a clearheight of 29 ft. under the rodf trusses, and the lower facesof the crane runways are 20 ft. above tlie floor. The twowings are 30 It. wide and 16 ft. high. As shown in the plan,one wing provides for a Chipping and tumbler room, an office,pattern storage, rooms for blowers, sand and facing; and theother for the cupolas, four core ovens and core room, and alarge space for the flask maker. The cupola room has aecond story with a heavily constructed platform, ! conStitutes the charging floor.
