1932 (An old snapshot photo ) Uniformed motorcycle (mechanic) patrolmen replaced the old AA cycle Scouts. Historically on 19 June 1905, Charles Jarrott and Walter Gibbons, Charles Jarrott, Ludwig Schlentheim & Alfred Harrismet met at the Lyons Trocadero Restaurant in Shaftesbury Avenue, London ,to form the 'The Motorists' Mutual Association', (MMA).Just a week later, on 26 June, the MMA committee changed its name to The Automobile Association.
