The entrance to Flea Bay, part of the Pohatu Marine Reserve, near Akaroa on New Zealands South Island. It is the home of a breeding penguin colony. The penguin colony is managed by Pohatu Penguins, an organisation dedicated to the colony's welfare. Visitors can stay overnight at Flea Bay, have a guided walk around the colony, hear about the work done with the penguins and sea kayak around the bay to view the seal colony.
