Irrigation Nile Valley Egypt
In the Nile valley, the methods of irrigating the land using the precious waters of the river Nile have not changed much since the time of the Pharoahs. Narrow irrigation channels take water to holding pools and oxen yoked to waterwheels walk round in a circle to move the wheel and distribute the water.
