Amer or Amber is a magnificent fort built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble in Jaipur. The extensive palace complex is divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard namely Jaleb Chowk (Main Courtyard), Diwan-i-Am (at second courtyard), Maharaja’s apartments (around third courtyard) and Zenana, the secluded women’s quarters (surrounded by the fourth courtyard).
