Looking behind us now, weenjoy, by means of the new turn in our track, a magnifi-cent review of the natural and artificial glories just passed,affording us altogether the grandest prospect to be metwith between the Hudson and the Lake. The river, thevillage, the bridge, and the viaduct stretch in an unob-. structed line behind us ; but, to have this view in perfec-tion, the tourist must ascend the old road, extending, overthe hill above us, from the village of Lanesborough to thestation of Susquehanna.
