AcQUiNTON, a post-office of King William county, Virginia. Adaline, a post-office of Marshall county, Virginia. Albemarle, a county in the j^art of Virginia, has anarea of about 700 square James Kiver forms its south-ern boundarv, and it is drainedby the Rivanna and Plardwarerivers, affluents of the Jamesriver, which rise by several smallbrandies in the W. part of thecountry. The Blue Ridge formsits N. W. boundary, and a ridgecalled South-west Mountain, orCarters Mountain, extends acrossthe county in a N. E. and S. W. direction.
