Copalite. Copaline (or copaline) is semi-fossilized plant resin, a natural organic substance like amber, but of a lower grade of polymerization. The sample in this picture shows a honeycomb pattern resulting from shrinkage that took place during ageing of the resin. Sample height is 6 cm.
