A railway enthusiast’s train passes Burscough Junction station and the former corn mill in West Lancashire. The train was called the Lancs Links tour.


A Pathfinders railtour passes Burscough Junction station on Direct Rail Services 37419 is leading the train to Ormskirk where it will reverse and 37 604, also owned by DRS, which is on the rear in this picture will pull the train back along the branch towards Preston. This train is a railway enthusiast’s train that is passing Burscough Junction station and the former corn mill in West Lancashire. The train was called the Lancs Links tour. This railway is now a single track branch line and doesn’t normally see locomotive hauled trains. This train originated at Crewe and visited Preston docks, Haydock, Seaforth and Liverpool Lime Street. Cw 1188.
