In general outlinethe dam is straight and its height above the bedrock varies fromabout 10 to as much as 25 ft. between the elevations of heel and notable feature of the dam is its width up and down stream, whichamounts to as much as 31 ft. from heel to toe in the part that is 25ft. in elevation from heel to crest. The portion of the dam betweenthe abutments is of stone masonry laid in mortar of Portland cementand sand. Ashlar masonry
