A Japanese tachi,mid Nambokucho period(ca. 1350)Blade shinogi-tsukuri,o-kissaki,deep torii-zori. Chu- up to o-itame hada. Hamon based on suguha with komidare,nijuba,uchinoke and hakikake in niye deki. Yakitsume boshi with short kaeri,showing slight signs of fatigue. Nakago o-suriage with two mekugi-ana,kiri sujikai yasurime. Hamon and blade shape suggest a Yamato-den blade. Good sashikomi polish. Gold-plated copper habaki with nekkogaki.
