Two of the five quintuplet lambs, staring up looking at the sun
It's five tastic. one mum gives birth to 5 lambs. This is very rare and it was thought only one other place in the UK has had this happen before, and it was thought to be unique, until now. These lambs were born on 29th Feb one day after the lambs from Warwickshire. Hobby farmer George gooding from Horley Surrey, age 68 who has been farming for 29 years saw his ewe had given birth to three lambs one evning mum and the lambs were doing well. Only to discover the next morning not three but five lambs had been born. The last one being not much larger than a small puppy. Because of the number of lambs George and his wife carol have to help mum out with bottle feeding some of them, with the sheep version of formula." It's full on" said George "having to feed them up to five times a day, their first before 7am and the last after midnight".
