All our shipments bear copy of a certificate of inspection issued by our State Entomologist, showing that our nursery has been inspected and found clean from San Jose scale, peach y8)llowsi rosette, and other dangerously injurious insect pests and plant diseases. A number of Southern States, notably Florida, Georgia, Missis- sippi, South Carolina and Virginia, re- quire all nurseries to file with their state officials a copy of the inspection certifi- cate. Upon approval of such certifi- cates, these state authorities issue spe- cial permit tags which must be attached to all shipments within their respective states. We have complied with thest? various state laws and are in a position to ship into every state in the Union. Pests and Diseases. In a small book- let of this kind it is impossible to give intelligent instructions for spraying and combating various diseases, pests, etc., that trouble the fruit grower and gar- dener.
