watch stand, Anonymous, 18th century, General: 28 x x 7cm 280 x 175 x 70mm, Watch stand of green painted spruce with carving of Louis XV style curls. The stand has a round, openwork dial opening. Decorated all around with a wavy edge and with holes. On both sides an openwork half arch with seed beads. On top of a copper button. The whole is placed on a console that is notched in diamond shape. The bottom is hollowed out. The back is roughly cut away and has a semicircular opening with a slot for the timepiece.
