With the plate on the injured side, the tube is centred over aspot behind and below the angle of the uninjured jaw, thus avoiding theoverlapping of the latter. By using the above method it is possible to obtain a picture of the siderequired, showing the whole of the lower jaw in profile, the temporo-maxillaryarticulation being well shown.
