This variety was the hrst hybrid of note; leaves 18 inches across, of dark bronzy green ; under surface greenish brown; flowers pure red, 6 to 10 inches in diameter; a univer-;al favorite, 50 cts. each;lf>5 OOperdoz. Dentata (A^. ortigiesiam Planck). The largest flower- ing and best white night-blooming Nymphaea. Flowers measure from 8 to 12 inches in diameter, opening out horizontally; leaves dark glossy green, heavily den- tated. 50cts. each; $ per doz; seed, 15 cts, per pkt. Rubra. Somewhat similar to iV. Devoniensis, but petals less pointed ; flowers 6 to 10 inches across, of deep pur- plish red; stamens ciiuiabar red, becoming brownish; foliage reddish bronze, turning to green. $ each ; $ per doz. Qeo. Huster. This variety may be described as a de- cidedly improved O'Mar- ana. It has the same vigorous growth and Iree- flowering qualities, but the flowers are much finer, the color being a particularly brilliant crim- son. $'i0 each; seed, 15 Cts. per pkt. Jubilee. Flowers 6 to 8 inches across, of glistening white, with delicate flush of pink at the base of the petals and sepals; leaves blotched with brown and crumpled at margin. $ each. Kewensis. Leaves dark green, slightly bronzy, with a few brown blotches; young leaves more spotted on surface. Light pink flowers 6 to 8 inches across, f each.
