Bids fair to supersede Doolittle as an early market variety. 7sweet Home—A Black Cap of superior quality, nearly as large as the Gregg, and more uniform, and so hardy as to have withstood 30 degrees below zero uninjured. Ripens ten days later than Doolittle. BLACKBERRIES. Should be planted in rows six to seven feet apart, three to five feet in the rows. Keep the ground light and rich. Pinch the canes back when they have reached four feet in height.
