Lanyon Quoit, Cornwall: a Neolithic burial chamber at the north end of a low long mound which has the remains of burial cists at its southern end. Unclear as to whether it is an original long mound, two separate round barrows enclosed by a long barrow in prehistory, or two round barrows robbed and disturbed in recent times to give the impression of a long mound. 4th millennium BC. Looking NNE with the tower of Ding Dong Mine to the rear R, Carn Galva outcrop rear L. The capstone and the southern upright were reset in 1824 after the capstone fell during a storm.
