A beautiful example of late 19th Century Peranakan or Straits Chinese architecture, this classic terraced town house in Singapore's historic Little India District is unique for its ornate oval or round windows and Doric columns inset with original Chinese tiles. It would have been home at the turn of the 19th Century to a rich local Towkay, or businessman and his family. Lovingly restored, it is one of only four with its distinctive facade in the area.
