Using authentic equipment, clothing and vehicles, this re-enactment scene supported one the aerial displays of the Airshow, which is run by the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA), of a 'Scramble' - a mock attack on the airfield which sees Spitfires and Hurricanes repel the attack. The re-enactment also provides a living history, giving a flavour of 'what is was like' in the dark days of the Battle of Britain. Shoreham Airshow, 2007.
