A charming vari- ety. The leaves are mottled brown when in a young state. Its large fragrant flowers which are a beauti- ful clear yellow, with bright orange stamens, are produced from spring till destroyed by frost. 75c. each, $ per dozen. Nelumbium speciosum. Egyptian Lotus. Its superb flowers and magnificent foliage produce a splendid sub-tropi- ical effect. The leaves which attain a height of six feet or more above the water, are often two and a half feet across. The flowers which are about a foot across, are deep rose in color, with soft creamy white at base of petals. Their fragrance is unsur- passed. $ each, $ per dozen. FRUIT DEPARTHENT.
