Beast head hoodmould stop & chevrons (zigzags) on arch of Norman (mid C12th) N transept of Ewenny Priory church, Vale of Glamorgan. The Priory was founded in 1141 for the Benedictine monks of Gloucester Abbey by Maurice de Londres based on the church of St Michael rebuilt by William de Londres (Maurice's father) in the early C12th.
