A tractor bales hay in a field in rural France. After several weeks of dry weather the process made a huge amount of dust.

This image was taken in the Cévennes region of France. It is a intensely rural area situated in the peripheral region of the Cévennes National Park. Many of the fields in the area are very small and the hay has to be cut using small mowers and turned by hand. This field is an exception and a tractor and bailer can be used. At the time this image was taken it had been very dry and the process of feeding the hay into the bailer (done by hand) and the actual bailing caused a huge amount of dust to be thrown up.
