The Samuel Beckett Bridge in the Evening


The Samuel Beckett bridge was opened in Dublin on 10th December 2009 provide much needed relief from traffic congestion. It connects Sir John Rogerson's Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to North Wall Quay beside the new National Convention Center. The bridge was designed by Santiago Calatrava and has the ability to pivot so that large vessels can sail past on towards the city center.
