A pair of flintlock pistols, Liège(?), 1st half of the 18th century. Round, swamped barrels with smooth bore in mm calibre with sighting flats and brass front sights. Floral ornamentation on the breeches. Flintlocks and iron furniture have chiselled acanthus decoration and engravings partially worn away by cleaning. Openwork side plates with leafy vines and volutes. Walnut stocks with horn nose caps, and minor repairs. Replacement ramrods with horn tips.
