A pair of percussion pistols, Robert Dugard, Birmingham, circa 1833 - a present from the city of Birmingham to Constable G. C. Lingham Octagonal, smooth-bore Damascus barrels in 13 mm calibre with patent breechblocks. Florally engraved, back-action percussion locks, the lock plates signed "ROBT. DUGARD MAKER BIRMM." Walnut stocks with chequered butts and florally engraved trigger guards. Either pistol decorated on the opposite side of the lock with an engraved, inlaid silver plate reading "G. C.
