COLONIE - New York Air National Guard Master Sgt. Shannon Pingatore from Fort Edward, approaches the finish line at the New York National Guard’s Family Readiness Council "Hometown Heroes" five-kilomter run here June 12. More than 220 runners participated in the race, a fundraiser to support National Guard families. Pingatore is a runner with the New York National Guard’s Marathon Team, racing with the National Guard throughout the year.
