We give below a few of the many testimonals sent us in reference to this fine white carnation. Mr. William Scott of Buffalo, N. Y., writes us : "I find Lois C. Haettel a good grower in an exceptionally dry season, an early bloomer with medium sized flowers, pure white in color, of perfect form and a free ; F. Goldring & Co., S. Siagerlands, Albany, New York, say : "We consider Lois C Haettel Carnations to be our best white, and intend growing it largely next season. In our soil—a rich sandy loam—this variety makes a fine sturdy growth, producin<j its flowers very freely ou long stiff stems, and best of all it is a good seller.
