The Military Sealift Command dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Lewis and Clark (T-AKE 1) transits off the bow of amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) prior to a replenishment-at-sea. Kearsarge is on a scheduled deployment in support of maritime operations.
