Tech Sgt. Lauren Farley is lowered on belay to a "victim" that has fallen on a ledge below her at West Metro Fire Rescue Training Area. During this exercise, Farley will retrieve the unconscious and injured casualty from its insecure location and bring the casualty to a safer environment where it can receive medical attention. Farley is a medic with the Utah CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CRFP) participating in the Colorado Vigilant Guard Exercise 2013, being held in the Denver Metro Area.
