Compagnes Bootgroup / Surface Assault Training Group. The emblem is derived from the Texel municipal coat of arms, where the boat group of the Marines Corps has the basis and combines the Dutch lion with the unicorn that prevents the shield bearer from the British national arm. This emblem and the spell strongly by unity express both the connection of the boat group with Texel and the British navy with whom it cooperates. Both animals also represent the turbulent aggressiveness that this marine part characterizes.
