Monika Stoy, president of the International Order of the Society of the 3rd Infantry Division, talks about the courage of Army soldiers who raised the flag here May 5, 1944. Stoy, who helped organize the May 5, 2017 ceremony, spoke during the commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the flag raising event.
