Gee Hyun McNease, the deputy commander of the Defense Logistics Agency Support Team-Kuwait, deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, was recognized as one of the five honorees by the Alexandria Celebrates Woman at its annual awards ceremony held March 29, 2021 in McNease's hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. McNease, who works at the DLA headquarters at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, said she volunteered for this six-month tour in order to gain more operational experience. Her other overseas DLA tour was to Camp Speicher, Iraq in 2008.
