Yellow crane, Cité des Chantiers, ile de Nantes, Nantes, France.
Rehabilitation of the launch pad 2 & 3 and creation of the Cité des Chantiers. The cale 2 is rehabilitated and transformed into a site for cultural projects linked to maritime and river heritage. The top of the hold is arranged as a public promenade in the continuity of the park of Chantiers. It becomes a veritable belvedere offering a unique panoramic view of the district, the Loire and the whole of the city. The cale 3 is made available to the local players, in particular associations working on the industrial and maritime history of Nantes. It becomes a place of welcome, exhibition and information on heritage and naval activity. It was rehabilitated in the same way and thus regained its former function for the launching of boats. The "Cité des chantiers", delivered in spring 2009, offers new office space, activities and storage for associations
