The Dolliver Romance MS in Sophia Hawthorne's hand of the story, Another Fragment of the Dolliver Romance Digitization was made possible by a lead gift from The Polonsky Foundation. The first chapter [A Scene from the Dolliver Romance] was published in the 'Atlantic' as an isolated portion, soon after his death; and subsequently the second chapter, which he had been unable to revise, appeared in the same periodical [Another Scene from the Dolliver Romance].
