The Arthur Heurtley House in Oak Park, Illinois designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was built in 1902 and is widely considered one of his great residential designs. Wright was born in Wisconsin and moved to Chicago in search of work after attending college. He worked for another famed architect, Louis Sullivan during his Chicago years. During that time, Wright lived in Oak park for 20 years (1889-1909). Today, Oak Park, a near western suburb to Chicago, contains the world's largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings and houses.
