Italian sanatorium ruins in Eleousa, Rhodes
When the Italians occupied Rhodes they built their own garrison for the ranking officers and soldiers (needs citation). But I have also read this was a sanatorium, so I am not sure. The buildings are neglected and run down with tiles, fixtures and fittings stolen, but the shell of the building serves as a reminder of Italian art deco styles and of life under the Italians.
