He may go along like this forsome time, but if the water is rough,ten to one a sea will sooner or later comein over the lee bow, and the weight ofwater to leeward may cause the boatto capsize before the sheet can be let goand the helm put hard down to bringher head to wind. This in itself is notagreeable ; and failing to right the boatone may be compelled to cling to thekeel or rail until relief comes, or till hegets too t
