HOW TO GROW ALFALFA ALFALFA can be grown in practically all parts of this country, giving good yields of the very finest forage and improvimg the soil where it grows. There are certain conditions which are necessary for the successful growth of Alfalfa and careful attention must be given to them. Well drained loose sur- face and sub-soil is best, but any well drained soil will do. The land should be reasonably rich and supplied with organic matter. The food value of Alfalfa has been so fully demonstrated in all parts of the country that further mention is unnecessary. The fact of interest to the practical farmers is that—, It is Possible and Practical to Grow Alfalfa on Your Farm!. First Cutting of 400 Acres of Alfalfa—AH seed inoculated with Farmogerm. Farm of H.
