Murder of Isaäc Dorislaer, 1649, 1649 print The print and fresh of the murder committed on Isaäc Dorislaer by a group of masked men in the De Zwaan inn on the place in The Hague, May 12, 1649, combined for a magazine with the announcement of the promised reward of a thousand guilders for the designation From the murderers of Isaäc Doreslaer. Doreslaer was sent to the Republic as an envoy from England. On either side of the print a contemporary handwriting stating that the table companion Mr Van Valkenstein was also injured in the attack and died of his injuries on 30 May. The verse is printed
