Mike Krysinski, 36th Rescue Squadron UH-1N Huey pilot, eat Meal Ready to Eat portions during arctic survival training. Arctic survival students receive two MRE's for their three days of field training. The course is five days in duration with instruction in familiarization with the arctic environment, medical, personal protection, sustenance and signaling.
